🚨SITUATION UPDATE- #Mozambique

Heavy rains are flooding homes and destroying crops just weeks after Mozambique was hit by tropical storm Filipo.

The rains are disrupting access to conflict-affected areas in the north.
Extreme weather events made worse by this year’s El Nino are putting pressure on families already at risk of hunger in Mozambique, and stretching available resources to deliver urgent assistance.

WFP is doing whatever it takes – by road and by sea - to reach nearly half a million people in need despite obstacles, but more resources are urgently needed.
