SAWS issues severe weather warnings

The South African Weather Service has issued a series of weather warnings as a cold front sweeps through the country. Residents in the Eastern Cape are urged to prepare for disruptive rain, snowfall and damaging winds, with the province now under an orange level 6 warning. Meanwhile, residents in KwaZulu-Natal, the Free State and Gauteng can expect cold to very cold conditions, with a chance of snowfall in some areas from today until Tuesday.
