check out those clouds moving
the bottom one is moving southwest
but the top one is moving offshore
crazy stuff right
just goes to show how complicated the atmosphere
actually is anyway
it's quite stable funny enough
even though we've got a big west coming through
Barometer's going back up
so the west is not gonna last that long
as we thought it might
they say it's gonna blast this afternoon
but there was lightning and thunder here this morning
early hours very cool storm
very nice stuff happening

conditions that offshore at the top in southwest
at the bottom is weird eh
and the lightning and thunder
there's another cold front coming
but in between these two cold fronts
is absolutely peach
and luckily it falls over the weekend coming up
so after this cold front in this huge big waves
sardines like big waves remember
it'll calm down magnificently
we probably gonna get some really good surf
although it is a bit wobbly because it's neap tides
so in a way this swell's wasted
but the next one comes on the spring tides
I think that's gonna be the one for surfing alright
currents I'm not sure about that
but the water temperature's gone back up to 23
so maybe that means that colour's current
has moved right back in again
there's big swirls there
this is some people say 5 meters he he
but that's probably gonna be out at sea
most of these big south swells
just go straight past us so obviously
they turn in some places on the south coast
that's why we always surf here but uh yeah
generally these big rollers are way out deep
5 meters is out there boy
from proterie for lol you know all about 5 meters
the wind's gonna just blow this southwest all day
but they reckon it in the afternoon
it's gonna really pump so I don't know
they reckon up to 14 knots
they are referred to as the forecasters all of them
I check all of them out and then I decide on what
on who's telling the truth
and the moon is halfway down
or 41% is going away completely
so
we're back into the springs for that next cold front
coming up and that's about it alright
hopefully the news will start trickling in
all the fish and more fish and more fish and more
okay well smile if you're a fisherman
this is the time of the year to be fishing
before the sardines arrive
once the sardines arrive things get very challenging
cause there's too much food in the water for the fish
but right now they're all hungry and keen as mustard
waiting for the sardines as eagerly as we are okay
he's talking about this west wind
I was speak
chatting to Robbie this morning in Mdumbi
and he had a light offshore
and it was just peachy hardly any waves
and next thing bang that southwest hit there
and that was about an hour ago
maybe half an hour ago in fact
so make no mistake
we are getting a big blow this afternoon at about 1:00
exactly as according to what the forecaster said
but okay
fishing check these guys catching fish like crazy
these these guys catching this big kingfish
they have to help each other ha ha
it looks like I'm zombie flats
I'm not sure exactly where that it was but yeah
fishing is good right now
the shad haven't really gone mad
I'll tell you when the shad go mad
in the meantime it's all about scratching the gullies
and fishing the estuaries
as you saw from yesterday's video
just get out there small rod
small tackle and just have fun
and the Garrick have also arrived by the way
they actually been shooting them and catching them
and also catching snook and the snoek are within reach
so yeah smile if you're a fisherman alright
