Pafuri Magic |4K| Solo Camping in Northern Kruger Ep. 2
Descrição
Thank you so much for watching!
Part 2 of my Solo Self Drive Safari takes me to the far north of Kruger — the Pafuri region. It’s still just me, my car and the Kruger, but this is the wildest, greenest and most remote corner of the park, and probably one of the most special places we have visited.
After the long drive up through the north, I reached Pafuri — tucked away in the very top of the park, where South Africa meets Zimbabwe and Mozambique at Crooks’ Corner. Up here it feels like a completely different country: towering fever tree forests along the Luvuvhu River, giant baobabs standing on the ridges, and dense riverine bush that hides nyala, elephant and some of the rarest birds in South Africa. Using Punda Maria as my base, I spent my days slowly exploring the Luvuvhu loop and the Pafuri picnic site, one of the most beautiful spots in the whole of Kruger.
In this video I want to show you what the far north really feels like: slow mornings by the river, long quiet drives where you can go hours without seeing another car, and the kind of big-tree wilderness that most visitors never make it far enough north to see.

Great photography! I appreciate you labeling the name of the wildlife you see, especially the many bird species.

the croc just lurking like "I'll wait" and then the elephants walking in like confused neighbours checking out the smell 😂 best plot twist of a drive. was the ranger walking away so slowly part of the mystery or did you find out why later?

Great video, pity about the buffalo and no predators but good sightings all round. My sister and I were just talking about whether anyone sees Dassies in Kruger so that was a good spot. Were there still rangers at Crooks Corner ?
