Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Big changes coming

Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for May 16, 2023: Not too shabby of an evening across NE Ohio tonight. Might be a great time to start planning for Wednesday night into Thursday morning as temperatures are expected to near the mid-30s. This drop could lead to patchy morning frost Thursday. If you've already potted things up and want to be safe, bring things into the garage tonight or sometime tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be cooler than today by 10-15 degrees. Why the change? A good ole cold front. The beauty of this front is that it's a dry front which means no precipitation is associated with it. It will have our high temperatures tomorrow near 60° and even cooler lakeside.
We recover nicely Thursday and even Friday temperature wise. Highs by Friday are closer to 80°; however, our next system is approaching by then. Clouds will build and rain chances will move in. The rain will linger early Saturday... but isn't going to impact too much of the day.
