Mozambique the future postponed Beira 1974

These were troubled times for Mozambique or Moçambique. The future of Mozambique in 1974 was in the hands of the Portuguese Army general forces which were stationed in the Province fighting the terrorist Marxist movement of Frelimo. These armed forces were left in April 1974 dependent of the Leftist Revolution Government council which had taken power in Portugal. Which by the Lusaka agreements, handed the power to Frelimo. Many of the Portuguese born in Mozambique for many generations in Mozambique, and for the black elite, Indian and Chinese community, looked the future with apprehension, as they knew the power would be given soon or later to Frelimo, the terrorist Marxist movement fighting for independence from Portugal since the sixties. Unfortunately all fears of a one party system solution with the capping of all civil liberties turned out to be true, and those within the Party of Frelimo, or civilians, which opposed the new Frelimo one party state system, were killed or executed, from 1975 to 1992, when then there were general elections for the first time, which have been manipulated to date, by the Party in power, Frelimo. Mozambique has been since 1974, to date, in a deadlock situation, with party members of Frelimo ransacking the Government and Companies, killing of opposition members, deviation of international funds, election fraudulent schemes, international money laundering schemes, etc etc .... and the black population ballooned in the meantime from 12 million to near 50 millions, resulting in extreme poverty from North to South of the country.
