Descrição

Cities across Africa are struggling with the impact of climate change - for some, their very survival is at stake. In Mozambique, the port city of Beira faces a very bleak future, thanks to rising sea levels. But one man is making it his life's mission...to hold back the waves. RIP Mayer,we lost him to Covid but his legacy lives on as Beira now has a beautiful Green Park to make the City proud. Thanks to this visionary leader who made it possible to dream of such a project like that.I am sure he is smiling in heaven at how his City is getting better and people are happier in Beira.

All the houses look like that, even on the inland side of Beira, and indeed all Mozambique towns and cities. I've seen it, been there. It's Africa. No foresight or planning, no stitches in time...
