I am mozambica, right at the begining Prof. PLO says "the conflit make the agenda of economic development dificult...". No!!!!! our governament have no real economical development agenda, that is very clear for us living in Mozambique, they are at the power to mantain their power only that. the conflict came and found that area of mozambique already poor like the rest of the country, even in the capital of the country there are no schools, good streets etc, we are still using the streets left by the Portuguese.

Thank you prof Lumumba. Im Mozambican. Só let meet tell you the true. The war in cabo delgado does not have nothing with poverty e/ or islam. They war causes by France and US that create, train and finance this groups to desestabilaze the áreas that have resources in order to Control. Poverty in Mozambique exists all the country. Islam exist in Mozambique from 7 th Century. War started when France came to Mozambique. So please dont hide the real true.

Some points to consider 1. Mozambique population is majority Christian (over 60%), however, when you take in consideration north region(where the conflict is), majority population is Muslim (over 60%), what make this area fertile for insurgency and Islamic jihads. 2. Higher levels of poverty in northern region, being also the region where majority of population live. Living under Sentiment of exclusion

Indeed Professora Mulumba, Mozambique needs urgent and very effective solutions before the attacks spread across our coast. As Mozambican, I state that the government should think beyond it's reward by taking into account nationals interest in general. May the Living God help us to come out of it completely.
