Historically Europe has wasted untold amounts of time, effort and money trying to industrialize the continent. It doesn't pay off.

DO NOT DONATE! And I don't say this lightly. Google the most popular "charities" to get salaries of CEO's of these "charities" and how much goes to the people vs how much CEO gets. It is appalling. Plus it is well known that the people in need rarely get the help being sent (money, food, clothes)

Some of the staff at my kids school are from mozambique and the school linked oxfam for donations as if its the only ngo working in the region. I have donated to docs w/o borders in the past and did the same this time around.

I guess that 100 million those folks donated to the University of Toronto could've save lives that are in real need. But who am I kidding?
