Mbuzini | The Village Where Samora Machel Passed

08/10/2026 · BM TV

Descrição

Mbuzini is more than a place on a map.

Located in Mpumalanga, near the borders of Mozambique and Eswatini, Mbuzini is my home village. It’s a place shaped by land, people, tradition, and history.

Many know Mbuzini as the place where Samora Machel passed in 1986. But for those of us who live here, Mbuzini is more than one moment in history. It is where families live, children grow up, culture continues, and community comes together.

In this video, I take you through Mbuzini as I know it — its geography, its sections, its roads and footpaths, its connection to neighboring countries, and the everyday life that defines it.

This is Mbuzini.
My village.
Where I come from.

I saw this place for the first time when we came to Lobola my wife, and i told her we are definitely coming to build a house there. I've never seen such breath taking beauty.

It is pleasing to note this community still practice small scale farming something most people have long ignored.
