🚨 Japan Hit by Typhoon ! Typhoon Champi is approaching the Ishigaki Island and Sakishima Islands

As of 9:00 a.m. on the 23rd, the large and powerful Typhoon No. 30 is located approximately 200 km south of Ishigaki Island, moving in a north-northwesterly direction at a speed of 15 km/h. Its central pressure is 955 hPa, with maximum sustained winds near the center reaching 40 m/s.

The typhoon is expected to reach a position about 110 km north of Yonaguni Island by 9:00 a.m. on the 24th, and will move into the East China Sea by 9:00 a.m. on the 25th. It is then forecast to transition into an extratropical cyclone, reaching the waters near the Izu Islands by 9:00 a.m. on the 27th.

Areas in the vicinity of the typhoon and along its projected path should remain on high alert for strong winds and heavy rainfall. Furthermore, maritime areas along the typhoon's path should prepare for extremely rough seas. The next update on the typhoon is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
