Is Watching Mass on TV Enough? What Pope Leo XIV Actually Said (And What He Didn't)

On August 12, Pope Leo XIV said one sentence of twenty words inside St. Peter's Basilica. Within two days, video titles had turned it into a "warning" to every Catholic who watches Mass from home. One video even put a quote in his mouth that does not exist in the Vatican's text.

So what did he really say? I read the whole teaching, word by word, plus the greetings that only appear on the Vatican's Italian page. Including one short line in Portuguese, to pilgrims from Mozambique, that almost nobody in the English-speaking world ever read.
