Trying to make people pronounce Fernand differently is hilariously insane. Lol.

If you're going to be in weather forecast in in English you need to learn how to pronounce your words

It appeals to my sense of humor that so many highly educated meteorologists mispronounce "Fernand." Yes, I know, pronunciations can be challenging at times. It is pronounced, "fehr-NAHN." Though the emphasis is on "NAHN," it can just be a tad more so and be correct. If you inflated emphasis on the "NAHN," it would sound artificial. I should be kicked up a just a notch, it would sound more natural as being barely detectable.
