Descrição

Here’s the #afrocuban rhythm #mozambique adapted for the #drumset …originally a #conga rhythm made popular by Pello el Afrokan in #cuba & later popularized in NYC by Eddie Palmieri… Where most Afrocuban rhythms can be performed in 2:3 or 3:2… This groove is one of the only Cuban rhythms that I only hear in a 2:3 #clave … If you want to get better at the #drums check out my Study The Drum app... As a punk drummer, it scratches an itch in my brain when drummers can create nice grooves that are played softly. This is a great example of that!

This is really like my favorite drum beat in the world. I won’t bore you with the reasons, but man it’s so satisfying to hear the full thing and to watch you build it. Right on!

This guy came up randomly on YouTube and I’m fucking ecstatic he did. I wanted to hear where this could of gone if he opened up on the rolls at the end. Good job pal
