How I Powered a Neon Light Strip with My Bicycle Wheel!

12/10/2026 · Inventor Gc

Descrição

In this DIY project, we’ve created a unique way to power a neon strip light using the rotation of a bicycle tire! 💡🚲
By attaching a small DC motor to the wheel, we generate electricity through the wheel's motion, which is then used to light up a glowing neon strip. This is a great example of converting mechanical energy into electrical energy using simple, easily available materials. Perfect for school projects, science experiments, or just a fun engineering hack!
🔧 What’s used in this project:
Small DC motor
Neon strip light
Bicycle wheel
Wires and connectors
Switch and basic tools
Watch till the end to see the full glowing effect and how it works in real-time!
