Descrição

Villagers beheaded and homes torched in Northern Mozambique.
More than 2,000 people have been killed and 300,000 displaced over the past three years following attacks by fighters linked to Isil.
As the security threat from the armed group has grown significantly in recent months, the lives of many more are now at risk.
The fighters seized a key port for weeks in Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado province in August.
The area is near offshore gas projects worth tens of billions of dollars.
The government has been struggling to contain the fighters and is urging the international community to help.

The old South African army would not have tolerated this. Now you are left with the ANC who have strong ties with the Islamic State

Well I think that there is a problem of poverty and negligence to the local population on what is going in Mozambique right now. This is the real problem of most African leaders, the problem of tribalism.

ADF is not active in Uganda, the UPDF torched them out of the country in the early 2000s, there is no single rebel organization in Uganda, that is how successful the current government has been in the fight against terrorism. The Ugandan army currently contributes about half of the AU troops fighting Alshabab in Somalia and other rebel groups in Central Africa, Sierra Leone etc... lets get the facts right.

Who is funding this 'rebel' movement? Being better equipped than the Mozambican army suggests significant, possibly state backer[s]

In my opinion this is nothing to do with poverty, is because of the minerals oil, valiable stones, etc. soon any country discover oil, minerals is always a killing of innocent people, war, look at what happen in Syria, Libia, south Sudan, Congo, Libia... is sad how they are powerful people in the world, Rich who are creating war in order to benefit themselves, they are after , oil and Minerals... is cruel world.. and every time Africa tries to unite to fix the continent exploring there mineral Resouses is always a war created so that Africa will never progress, will never own there Minerals, will never be peace in Africa because we have Rich soils.... is criminalized war... Africa needs a very strong Army to win and unite, just like china they first invested in strong Army in order to win succeed... There is no way Africa can own there land Without Strong Army to fight back...

WHO is producing the weapons the rebels are using? Just that alone reveals the criminals behind.

The problem of this insurgency is unlikely to be solved with any one single solution. It is likely going to require a multi-faceted solution that involves a mixture of military, economic and political support.

The way of solving Mozambique crisis is to divide the country in two countries like south Sudan and Sudan cause the southern part of Mozambique is monopolizing the resources which is mostly coming from the north its painful to see this happening.
