To see a more complete history of Mozambique, go to Season 8, Episode 2 of Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations” on Discovery +. It presents a very balanced perspective but doesn’t pull any punches.

Shangaa is not the same with Tsonga . Shangaan is Soshangaan Nxumalo. Tsonga is Tonga and are related but speaking different dialects. Tsonga,/ Tonga people migrated from Sudan and established themselves in the southern Africa namely , Zambia , Zimbabwe , Malawi , Mozambique and South Africa. Those that are saying tsonga and Shangaan are the same are lost Nguni people.

Mazambuko - crossing point of the Zambezi, Mocambique - Portuguese pronunciation. No other name

Mozambique has become my home of choice. The area of inhambane is not called “land of the good people” for nothing. It’s doesn’t change the corrupt government thought and that’s why we’re still so messed up and poor here!!

Mozambique cannot be separated from King Mutapa. Not Arab traders. Lies
