Gombe named, making landfall in Northern Madagascar - March 8th 2022

What was Tropical Depression 9 in the Southwest Indian Ocean has been named to Gombe by the Meteo-France earlier this morning. It is now making landfall in Northern Madagascar which has been hit by several other storms that occurred earlier this year. The models are predicting that after the storm is over waters again, it is forecast to intensify into a much more intense tropical cyclone.

Bruh. Why do the Indian Ocean Storms hate Madagascar so much this year!? I hope people will be ok, especially in Mozambique, because it looks like it may hit there as a monster.
