Freddy Finally Fading as it meanders over Mozambique

Elliott takes you through the current conditions and impacts of tropical storm Freddy in this video. The storm has made landfall in Zambezia Province, Mozambique, around 30km east of Quelimane - the provincial capital. The immediate landfall region is home to half a million people, who were experiencing winds up to 150kph and a storm surge up to 3.5m (11ft). Météo France forecast extreme rainfall of up to 500mm (20in) across inland regions of Mozambique as well as Southern Malawi, which will lead to catastrophic flooding.
