Fisheries monitoring in the Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique

Our team was hard at work this summer, running Baited Remote Underwater Video (BRUV) surveys in the seagrass meadows of the Bazaruto Archipelago. We are setting up long-term monitoring programmes to support small-scale fisheries and biodiversity conservation in this island paradise that is home to the elusive marine mammal - the dugong.
