Descrição

Wilfred Mhanda, known as Dzino, helped build the Zimbabwe People's Army (ZIPA), challenged the direction of the liberation movement and later argued that independence had left important questions unanswered. This Upright Films documentary follows the student, commander, detainee, scientist and writer through his own testimony, contemporary documents and later historical research.

Personal recollections, allegations and scholarly interpretations are attributed rather than treated as interchangeable evidence. Non-graphic educational history; no invented dialogue or assassination theory.
