Dolphins in Bazaruto Archipelago

The waters around the Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique are rich in marine life, from turtles and dugongs to dolphins and an abundance of tropical fish.
 
On Safari Consultants Managing Director, Rob’s, recent trip with his wife Jane, they were fortunate enough to encounter this inquisitive pod while out on the water, a memorable and moving glimpse of the wildlife that makes this stretch of coastline so special.

After 35 years travelling to Africa and scuba diving around the world, Rob described this encounter as ‘genuinely one of the most magical and perfect wildlife experiences of my life’. The conditions were perfect and there wasn’t another boat in sight. The dolphins were relaxed and just swam alongside us and around us for nearly 20 minutes🐬
