Dive Camp October 2020 Part Two. Forage and Fry: Beer Battered Fried Scallops over Thai Salad
Descrição
One of my favorite dive buddies Alyssa Kilzer (https://www.instagram.com/motokoak/) came through Los Angeles after 6 months traveling up north. We grabbed a campsite for a couple of days of perfect weather for some nice easy going late fall diving and foraging.
This is day two of two, and you can find day one here https://youtu.be/t0i3wxJHnso
In this video, I'm cooking fried scallops in a beer batter and serving over a Thai Style Salad with Daikon, Mango, Serrano Peppers, Basil, Rice Wine Vinegar, Lime Juice, and Fish Sauce.
This was filmed, edited, scored and pontificated over by me.
Shot on:
D7100 with a Tokina 100mm f2.5,
Gopro 7 Black,
Olympus TG5 TOUGH

Damn you got to go diving with Matt? That guy is a legend I've been watching his videos for years. Your narration style is very good. I'd like to see your guy's faces a bit while you're preparing the food though, to put a face to that voice.... even if only for a second or two. Helps to create a connection with your audience. Great work. 👍

The excitement or an upcoming trip is so thought to deal with! Next thing you know you only get 30 minutes of sleep.

Hello again! This You tube content is just amazing. I was just reading some of the comments below, the people are right! I too love spearfishing, fishing and freediving and just being in the water having fun. Also , the recipes I have watched look amazing , but the way you have set up the direction of the footage is exceptional. The narrative is awesome. I hope you are well and living the best life. Not meaning to sound rude, but is there a reason you have not made more videos? I was getting the ADHD at the beginning of the videos, and lack of sleep. Your amazing ability reminds me of Brodie Moss, YBS and how he started. Back when I first watched him and followed him it was Young Guns spearfishing and he was a sparky on a mine site. I'm guessing you might have watched his channel, he has ADHD and is now living the dream. Anyway, wishing all the best, many blessings to you and family. I'm going to watch through your uploaded videos because they are quality! Well done, Cheers for sharing them, Dive Safe, Eat well! 🐟🤿😁🤠👍🦘🤙
