Cyclone possibilities for Australia in the next 7 days

Tropical signals continue to fire across the Indian Ocean, with computer models trending much further east than previously, bringing Western Australia within reach. Two systems could form in the next week in the Indian Ocean, and could both reach hurricane force winds as they approach Western Australia. One of these storms could make a powerful landfall early next week. Elsewhere, in the Mozambique Channel, we're still watching a potential storm along the coast of Madagascar which continues to dump heavy rainfall, although the circulation is exposed. This system could still develop as it swings across towards Mozambique this weekend. In the South Pacific, a tropical cyclone could form near Vanuatu over the weekend and threaten the southern coast and islands of Fiji.
