Cyclone Freddy Makes Landfall!

30/08/2026 · Mr. Weatherman

Descrição

Cyclone Freddy made landfall in central Madagascar with intense winds, coastal flooding, and flooding rain. It will re-strengthen once it gets back over water tomorrow, and then head to Mozambique and make a second landfall. It will impact the central and southern Provinces/Districts of Mozambique. Once it moves inland, it will weaken, but bring some rain to Zimbabwe. The Indian Ocean remains active! Another area is developing into a cyclone in the central Indian Ocean. We are thinking of you in Madagascar and Mozambique. Please be safe!

Yesterday Inhambane's province, which is practically in the path of cyclone Freddy, faced a storm with super strong winds, which destroyed houses and schools. They haven't recovered yet and probably tomorrow will face a big and powerful storm. God protect these people who are constantly suffering environmental disasters.
