Chapter 6 The Juris App | Adventures in Shalom

Equip Mozambique Season 2/Episode 2:
Chapter 6 — Fighting Injustice with Technology in Beira

In this episode of Equip Mozambique, we sit down with founders Jon and Carla Reinagel for an eye-opening conversation about the unique and severe challenges women face in Beira, Mozambique.

From deep-rooted systemic issues to cultural traditions, women in Beira often find themselves vulnerable to severe injustice—especially when entering marriage or navigating widowhood, where extended family members frequently strip them of their homes, land, or possessions.

When Equip Mozambique uncovered this widespread injustice, they didn't just stand by—they built a solution.

Join us as Jon and Carla share the story behind Juris, a groundbreaking mobile app developed by Equip Mozambique. Juris empowers women (and others) by teaching them their legal rights, helping them navigate complex legal frameworks, and protecting vulnerable widows and wives from unlawful asset seizure.
