Batsirai Drawing Closer to the island of Rodrigues - January 29th 2022

Tropical Storm Batsirai is continuing to move West in the Indian Ocean, drawing closer to the island of Rodrigues. At this time, the current forecast depicts Batsirai tracking North of the island, however, impacts cannot be ruled out. After that, Batsirai is forecast to strengthen back to a cyclone as it passes North of Mauritius and La Reunion, however, it is possible that Batsirai gets closer than is currently forecast to those island areas.
