Mozambique is a wonderful place but beware of kidnappings targeted on wealthy residents and I am told that the police are also involved. Families are told to deposit the ransom in tax free countries. Off course Mozambique has acquired Portuguese bureaucratic culture and one gets everything done by giving underhand money and voila your job is done.
