🌍 Choose the right rest camp for YOU
There are 12 main rest camps in Kruger, each offering something different—from the animals you’re likely to see to the types of restaurants and facilities available. The accommodation ranges from basic tent sites to bungalows and family cottages—so there’s something for every style and budget⛺️

🔎 Track animals smarter
Use apps like KrugerExplorer or Latest Sightings (we wish we knew about it sooner!) and check sighting boards at the camps. Don’t be shy—chat with fellow travelers! People love to share animal intel 🐘🦓

☀️ Pick your season wisely
Kruger has two main seasons:
Wet season (Oct–Apr): lush and green, fewer tourists, and lots of baby animals—but harder to spot wildlife due to thicker bush 🌿
Dry season (May–Sept): easier sightings near water sources but it’s peak season, so expect more crowds!

🛒 Forget something? Don’t worry!
The camp stores have everything—food, souvenirs, adapters, utensils, and more. We forgot our converter and totally panicked… until we found one in the shop 😅

📶 Download before you go
Internet is limited in the park. Camps have some Wi-Fi, but it’s spotty—so make sure you download maps, playlists, or entertainment you want ahead of time!

⏳ Be patient and take your time
Our best sightings happened when we sat and waited. The magic happens when you least expect it 🐆

🚗 Your car is your safari base
Expect long days (sometimes 8+ hours), so pack accordingly:
Snacks, water, binoculars, chargers, and camera batteries.
